I have experience of working with a wide range of clients (children, adolescents and adults) experiencing mental health distress (depression, anxiety, problematic coping strategies, low self esteem) linked to a wide variety of life’s difficulties including relational breakdown, grief, loss, trauma and abuse.
From counselling children and young people through to younger and older adults, all navigating many different relational dynamics, I count it a privilege to offer a space in which individuals can grow in trust and the desire to heal- to become more fully the person they are created to become.
My practice has its roots in volunteer counselling with adults and then young people in a large Bristol counselling agency since January 2013.
I have been counselling school age children, adults and young people in private practice since 2015.
My work has included school counselling in a Bristol post 16 centre and in two private schools in Bath with children and young people aged 5-18 whilst being on the team of Focus Counselling, Bath.©
I have 3 years experience of delivering person centred training courses at Introductory level as well as facilitating skills workshops for Certificate Level counselling students at Network Counselling and Training, Bristol.
