I have experience of working with a wide range of clients (children, adolescents and adults) experiencing mental health distress such as depression, anxiety and low self esteem often linked to bereavement, loss, stress and burnout.
Clients can bring their current coping strategies they are using to survive the intense emotional pain brought on by the impact of trauma and abuse, developing more useful strategies over time as they build a healthier relationship with self.
I have worked with friendship, couple and family relationship difficulties, marital breakdown as well as spiritual issues. This is not an exhaustive list.
My practice has its roots in volunteer counselling with adults and then young people in a large Bristol counselling agency since January 2013.
I have been counselling adults and young people in private practice since 2015.
My work has included school counselling in a Bristol post 16 centre and in two private schools in Bath with children and young people aged 5-18 whilst being on the team of Focus Counselling, Bath.©
