About Me

NatPic

I am a qualified counsellor with a Diploma in Counselling validated by the University of Gloucestershire and a post-qualifying Diploma in Counselling Children and Adolescents.

I have a Certificate of Proficiency with the BACP and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP (Reg)) and CCYP  (Counselling Children and Young People).  I am also an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (MNCS (Accred)).

I regularly attend CPD courses,  receive monthly supervision for both my voluntary and private client work and I am fully insured for private practice.

I have experience of working with a wide range of clients (children,  adolescents and adults) with problems such as depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement and loss, spiritual issues, the impact of trauma or abuse, low self-esteem, self-harm, relationship difficulties and marital breakdown.

I have been counselling adults and young people in private practice since 2015 and started volunteer counselling with adults in a large Bristol counselling agency since January 2013. I  have been the school counsellor at a  Bristol post 16 centre since June 2015 and since September 2017 have been working as part of a counselling team in a private school in Bath working with children and young people.©

I am currently part of the Network training team at this agency delivering Introductory counselling courses and facilitating skills workshops.
